synopsis - concept - reviews - trailer - dvd

Huw Lloyd took it upon himself to generate as much publicity for the film calling journalists, film critics and people in the industry to turn up for a private screening of the film held in Chapter Arts Cinema, September 2003.

As a result of his work our film was publicised in a monthly arts magazine "Buzz" and this led us further down the publicity trail.

The article featured in "Buzz" magazine.

Eilir Pierce (director of Welsh arts programme "Y Sioe Gelf") contacted me after reading the article requesting an interview with Toru and I talking about our experience of making a Japanese Samurai film in Wales. It was quite an experience seeing clips of my film shown alongside scenes from Kill Bill and The Last Samurai, overwhelmed by the response the film was getting I stuttered and stammered my way through the interview searching for that right balance between pretension and confidence - deep down I was quaking in my boots.

The interview is still available online in paraphrased text form HERE.
